SP prohibits nailing of ads on trees, while government official themselves violate said ordinance

A tarp of Congw. Lucy Torres –Gomez is nailed on the tree inside the school ground of Kananga Central School. Her office was pinpointed as the violator of an ordinance of the Province of Leyte by nailing and fastening her signage such on trees in public places. Said tarpaulin are nailed on the trees within the school site of Kananga Central School, Tugbong central school, Montebello elementary school, Lim-ao elementary school, and in some other schools in Kananga. 

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Leyte has already approved the ordinance prohibiting all acts of fastening, bolting, posting, tying or nailing any kind of signage to any parts of trees in public places. The said ordinance was sponsored by Board Member Roque Tiu of 1st district of Leyte.

Commitment Building Ceremony at LGU -Kananga

CSC Regional Director Atty. David Cabanag confers the plaque of accreditation to Mayor Elmer C. Codilla, accrediting LGU-Kananga to take final action on appointments. Also present are municipal officials, department and section heads of different offices of the municipality.

Vice Mayor Macario V. Lumangtad Jr. likewise received a plaque from CSC director Cabanag.
