SP prohibits nailing of ads on trees, while government official themselves violate said ordinance


A tarp of Congw. Lucy Torres –Gomez is nailed on the tree inside the school ground of Kananga Central School. Her office was pinpointed as the violator of an ordinance of the Province of Leyte by nailing and fastening her signage such on trees in public places. Said tarpaulin are nailed on the trees within the school site of Kananga Central School, Tugbong central school, Montebello elementary school, Lim-ao elementary school, and in some other schools in Kananga. 

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Leyte has already approved the ordinance prohibiting all acts of fastening, bolting, posting, tying or nailing any kind of signage to any parts of trees in public places. The said ordinance was sponsored by Board Member Roque Tiu of 1st district of Leyte.

Commitment Building Ceremony at LGU -Kananga

Mayor Codilla led the inauguration of the newly completed road improvement/ rehabilitation project in Barangay San Ignacio which is one of the Kalahi-CIDSS project. In the speech of Brgy. Captain Felix Sano, he was elated with the completion of the road project, he said "kaniadto wa gyoy karsada paingon ngari sa San Ignacio, karon nalipay ko nga gihimoan gyod ug karsada"
